REMINDER: Bonus Points + Evaluation Form Due, February 25th @ 11:59 PM Kiribati Time (~10 Hours Left :)
In the spirit of bringing in our entire international community, the DEADLINE FOR THE BONUS POINTS + EVALUATION FORM HAS BEEN EXTENDED, specifically to TODAY, FEB 25TH @ MIDNIGHT / 11:59 PM KIRIBATI TIME, i.e ~10 hours from now. This will be our third & final reminder (on Devpost alone)!
Reminder that you get bonus points for a whole whack of things:
- Just attending or watching our recording of the OPENING CEREMONY can get you a point, as long as you find our hidden bonus code. The recording is here :)
- WORKSHOPS get you 3-4 points, one per session, IF you can get the bonus points code that was made available only to those who engaged with us live.*
- MENTOR SESSIONS get you 1-2 points max, one for each mentor you linked to!*
* Now, we hear the "it was in different timezones" excuse a lot, but we did make a very intentional effort to spread workshops across several times, so this by itself does not fly (there were sessions that were easy for people in Thailand to access that were more difficult for folks in Canada, and vice versa). That said, we know folks have lives & are often busy many different ways. There's lots of excuses that do fly.
Hence, there is an OPTION TO MAKE UP FOR MISSING WORKSHOP BONUS POINTS: Namely, for a MAX of TWO make-up bonus points, you can watch the recordings (LINK HERE) & write a one-paragraph reflection on them in your team Slack channel, about what you had learned
And for MAKE-UP MENTORSHIP POINTS, we are willing to consider networking as cross-mentoring if you attended one of our meet-and-greets. Some engaged live mentors from their own localities, and this can also be considered. Organizers also met with several people one-on-one when mentor slots did not sync, and make this offer again: Message us by the deadline if wanting a MAX OF ONE alternate mentorship points, we can especially discuss what next steps could look like for your project beyond CCM.
NOTE: Please be advised that ANY REQUESTS FOR ADDITIONAL MENTOR/ WORKSHOP POINTS NEED TO BE COMPLETED BY SENDING US A MESSAGE IN YOUR PRIVATE TEAM SLACK CHANNEL BY THE ABOVE DEADLINE. Please still complete the bonus points + evaluation form though, and any additional points will be manually added by the organizers after.
After the deadline, no additional requests or form submissions will be considered. We're keen to give everyone a chance, but it's on YOU to either choose ot not choose to take it!
